The tree is twinkling, the ham is cooked, the gingerbread house is covered in M&Ms and snow is gently falling outside the window.

My children (who woke up suddenly and simultaneously at 6am) are running around the house as though they’ve just shot-gunned 6 cans of Red Bull, excited in the knowledge that in just a few hours Santa will be here to hand out the huge pile of presents under the tree.

In other words it’s Christmas, so I’d like to take this opportunity to say
