If any of you saw the Rosa Bandet Gala on TV last night you’ll know just how important it is to support the fight against breast cancer.
Cancer is something that has been lurking around the edges of my own life for some years now. It has made me climb mountains and taken family and friends away all too soon.
My own father is a three-time cancer survivor. It’s not without a small measure of irony that I often tell him it’s one of things he’s best at doing. After staying in pubs for too long that is.
So how can we drink beer and remember to donate to cancer charity? By drinking pink beer of course!

Timmermans Kriek (SB nr 1666) – Cherry flavoured cough syrup on the nose and a puckering sourness in the mouth. Strangely the combination delivers a fairly interesting drinking experience.
Hoegaarden Rosée (SB nr 1689) – the Bacardi Breezer of beers. Sweeter than Carola eating candyfloss. But hey, it’s pink.
When you’ve finished your glass don’t forget to donate some cash here!
