I haven’t actually tasted the normal one. Just Kaggen, which is the most fantastic beer I’ve ever tasted.

I’ve never had the normal Stormaktsporter, but when I tried Kaggen 2007 about a year ago, all I was able to put down in my notebook was ”Fantastic!”. Outstanding beer, not a single bit overrated. I’ve had a fair amount of good beers since then, including an aged bottle of Westy 12, but not a single one has topped Kaggen so far.
I totaly agree with Johan. I tasted Stormaktsporter and I have tasted Kaggen at the brewery in Örebro.

Regarding hard to get the beer outside Sweden I must tell you about how surprised we got when we were on a South California Extreme Beer Tour last year and ended up at a Pizza Port brewpub in Carlsbad. Pizza Port had also a Beer shop and we found a Bottle of Kaggen 2006 in their window.
