can’t wait to try this one and it always helps to have you ahead of the pack so to speak so we know whats coming to the SB and what you think. And to think i have yet to try a beer from St. Eriks, shame on me. Sneaky one Darren moving the table around, is it a sign that you are moving closer indoors as the summer is soon gone
Great video (”-Or is it TV, Trev?” ), Darren. What about that beard? Soon looking like me, doing comedy-testings with ear-protection an all that, haha! Seem to be a great beer! Love the bottle. I think the same as Norman, that it’s very good you are ahead, so that your diciples know what do drink. Thrash’n'bärs!
That’s one of the reasons why I like this ST Eriks range so much Matthew. They’re experimenting with the types of bold flavours you usually find in beers in the 25+ SEK price bracket.
Darren: It’s quite funny that you as a englishman praise the bottle and seem to think it’s unique since Galatea with the brand St.Eriks has copied the bottle of the english brewery Meantime and stamped in the logo..
The St. Eriks beer are good and the bottle is lovely but unique, it isn’t..
Best regards and thanks for a great site and lots of fun with the videos!
Thanks for the kind words Martin
Of course the bottles were very ‘Meantime’ when they first came out and as a Meantime fan I never thought it was a unique concept. Having said that the new bottle that Pompona comes wrapped in is now uniquely St Eriks with some lovely embossing detail. The beer isn’t too bad either!

Hahaha – exactly Norman. Despite Trev’s best efforts I’ll be though that front door before you know it

I don’t own any ear protectors Peter. I didn’t think I needed them in my line of work but having seen your videos now I’m not so sure….
Less than 20kr…this is also a remarkable value for a porter I reckon, yeah? Can’t wait to try it!
