Having a blonde moment is something the Urban Dictionary describes as a ‘momentary flash of stupidity’. Blondes, so we are lead to believe, as generally more simple, naive and disorientated than the norm.
Brewdog’s latest Systembolaget release Trashy Blonde certainly doesn’t conform to any of the above, although it has the potential to disorientate with its amazingly high level of drinkability.
Although a British blonde ale in style this peroxide floozy has its roots firmly in fruity lemon and lime organic hops from the US. These bring a pleasant tropical fruit aroma to the beer, which pours a slightly more dyed golden hue than its name suggests. Pineapple, lychee and peach are mixed up in a rather light palate, with some nice biscuit malt breaking through before Brewdog’s trademark lingering hop finish comes in to finish things off.
At 4.1% ABV this blonde goes down well. Sure it might not be as complex as some of this maverick micro’s other beers but then it’s suppose to be easy. To drink that is.
It’s one blonde I’d happily take home. I just don’t think I’d introduce it to my mother.

Could you order one bottle of this? Or did you have to buy a whole crate?
This just in from Richard at http://www.casksweden.se:
”It’s in the ordering assortment and you have to order a full case of 24″.
Thanks for the incredibly fast response Darren.
To bad you can’t get it in single bottles.
